The core gameplay loop

The official descriptions frame the game around building a transport empire: connect towns and industries, deliver people and cargo, balance operating costs, and adapt when demand and city needs change.

Every delivery earns money while vehicles and infrastructure create costs. That supports a planning loop built around route design, maintenance, upgrades, bottlenecks and demand rather than a single fixed solution.

Modes listed before release

Steam and PlayStation list Tycoon mode, Sandbox mode and a Campaign mode with missions inspired by real historic events. The official copy also describes adjustable difficulty, including a more relaxed setting and an option to disable the economy for creative building.

  • Tycoon: manage routes, costs, growth and contracts.
  • Sandbox: build with unrestricted creativity and mod support.
  • Campaign: work through historical transport missions.

Networks, towns and industries

The current feature list covers rail, roads, sea and air transport, modular infrastructure, traffic simulation, data layers, dynamic districts and demand-driven industries. It also describes multiple climate zones, a day/night cycle and dynamic weather.

These are official pre-release feature statements. The page does not turn them into a beginner strategy, production ratio or best-route claim before hands-on verification.

Questions still open

The public listings do not establish the practical multiplayer experience, final balance, optimal routes, vehicle rankings or launch-day performance. Those questions remain outside this pre-release overview.
